INEM Researcher & PhD Candidate
Anastasios Konstantaras
Anastasios Konstantaras received his IMSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh), Greece, in July 2023.
His diploma thesis focused on the fabrication and study of a biosensor based on metal-organic frameworks. During the summer of 2022, he interned at Nanometrisis p.c., a spin-off company of the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos,” where he worked on the analysis of images of nanostructures in electronic devices. In May 2023, he participated in the DUTh Idea Accelerator and DUTh Innovation Challenge. His team, with the startup company idea “GreenWave,” won second place.
Anastasios began his PhD at the Micro- and Nano-Technology Lab (MNTLab) in December 2023, focusing on the research and study of Li-ion batteries by monitoring the various states of Li-ion cells with sensors.
Since November 2022, he has been working as a researcher for INEM Technologies in Xanthi, Greece, conducting research on PV technology and Li-ion battery performance enhancement via sensing technology.
